Provider Transformation Kick-Off Event
The Employment and Community Integration Training and Technical Assistance Center is excited to announce a 2-day provider transformation kick-off event with transformation subject matter experts (SMEs)Thomas Wilds and Genni Sasnett. Through their leadership, Tom and Genni transformed the services they provide through the St. Johns Community to 100% community-based services.
To participate in this event you must apply for technical assistance.

Building the Stage for Provider Transformation
The Provider Transformation 1.0 Session is intended for providers who have not yet begun the transformation process or have been on that pathway for less than a year. This track will be conducted by presenters who have experienced agency transformation and can speak directly to what it takes to make this kind of significant change. This session will be designed around interactive workshops that will facilitate learning and sharing with fellow providers about essential planning and start-up activities to support agency transformation.
Based on the ODEP Provider Transformation 1.0 Manual, the following topics will be addressed: Speakers: Genni Sasnett and Thomas Wilds

Leadership and Setting the Tone for Change including assessment of agency values and mission, outreach and marketing strategies, communication plan development and effective collaboration with boards of directors and other key stakeholders
11:15 am - 12:15
Individualized Supports including customized and supported employment, meaningful integrated day services as a pathway to wrap around for employment and effective in-take strategies
12:15 pm - 1:15 pm Lunch

Agency Transformation Planning including strategies to become a learning organization, development of transformation planning teams, organizational self-assessment and plan development

Staff Development and Support including determination of staffing needs, attracting, developing and supporting field-based staff, teams and team building

Beginning Your Agency’s Self-Assessment Members of each agency’s team will be provided a self-assessment tool to begin their team process. SMEs will be available for guidance and discussion
